Zahid withdraws appeal to obtain recorded statements of witnesses from MACC

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 —Former Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has withdrawn an application to obtain recorded statements of witnesses from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in the case involving Yayasan Akalbudi funds.

Ahmad Zahid in quarantine, trial postponed again

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 — The High Court here today allowed an application by Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to have his trial, which had been fixed for today until Wednesday, to be postponed as the former deputy prime minister is still under quarantine due to Covid-19.
